Design Consultation
Sound Communications Inc. provides unique insight on current technology trends. The design consultation process begins with a general education on the current state of technology for the home, a review of electronic system approaches and solutions, and warnings about under-developed technologies and their associated risks. The process continues with a needs assessment that determines the clients’ requirements based on their lifestyle, budgetary parameters and performance expectations.
Design and Documentation
Services provided include conceptual design development, system engineering and project documentation. Our staff works closely with the clients and their team of designers and consultants to develop a system design that meets the client’s needs and expectations, and properly integrates the technology with the design and décor of the home. We continue to massage and fine-tune the design details throughout the course of the project as may be required due to technological advancements, evolving ideas about the application of technology in the home, and changes to the construction. Our team develops and maintains a comprehensive documentation package throughout the course of the project. Samples are available upon request.
Project Management
Like most top quality architectural, engineering and construction firms, Sound Communications Inc. assigns a professional project manager to each project. Our project managers are the primary point of contact for all parties involved in the project. They plan the project logistics and time line, coordinate the work flow and communications with key stakeholders and other trades, and manage our technical staff to ensure that the project is completed on-time, on-budget and to the client’s satisfaction.
Installation
Sound Communications Inc. employs a crew of well-trained, highly skilled and hard-working field technicians who take pride in the quality of their work. A lead technician assigned to the project serves as a job foreman and directs all site activities. Because we assemble, wire, program, test and burn-in all equipment racks and systems in advance at our in-house production facility, work on site is minimized. This approach expedites the installation process and reduces the number and magnitude of issues encountered on site.
Configuration and Programming
Bridging the gap between technology and the user experience is what differentiates Sound Communications Inc. most from our competition. We acknowledge that even premium quality equipment professionally installed does not ensure client satisfaction. It is attention to the details like programming the remote control with your favorite channels, integrating your favorite streaming services, and establishing lighting scenes and camera presets that personalize the system in a manner that makes the system usable, intuitive and even fun for residents of all ages
Project Closeout
Despite the fact that the majority of our work cannot be completed until the job site is clean and secure, Sound Communications Inc. prides itself on 100% project completion in advance of client move-in. Through the years, we have refined the process of building systems off-site to substantially reduce installation time and the risk of schedule delays on site. Sound Communications Inc. has instilled a “sprint to the finish” mentality amongst all team members through which its in-depth QC testing and well-developed punch list management process is masterfully and expediently executed.
Warranty
Sound Communications Inc. provides a two-year limited warranty on all parts and 90 days on labor upon substantial completion of the project. In the months immediately following the completion of the project, the client is offered a choice of after-care programs.

We did have to get the system updated multiple times due to technology refresh. Sound Communications has always responded to questions/trouble calls in a timely manner and are able to integrate security systems, heating/AC thermostat control, as well as the local networking equipment so it all works together seamlessly. Granted, it may be a bit pricey for some of the equipment but it is high end items.

This is our second dental office with 9 operatories. We needed the system to be thorough, seamless, simple and versatile (unlike our first office). This one blows away our first one away. All of the girls caught on to the software/app that controls ALL of the video with a few clicks fairly quickly. It doesn't cut out, it can be controlled from our phones if need be, and the options are as plentiful. Tate was extremely accommodating and easy to work with. His communication with all pricing and sticking within our budget was fantastic. Couldn't be happier with the company and we are excited to have them come re-do our entire other office (that wasn't completed by them). We were so happy with them that they also did our entire security system. The same follows with that - simple, effective, and thorough.
