We have been using Sound Communications for our home automation system in Nisswa for over 10 years. We have been happy with the installation and features of the system. We did have to get the system updated multiple times due to technology refresh. Sound Communications has always responded to questions/trouble calls in a timely manner and are able to integrate security systems, heating/AC thermostat control, as well as the local networking equipment so it all works together seamlessly. Granted, it may be a bit pricey for some of the equipment but it is high end items.

We knew we had a difficult task when finding a company to hook up wireless audio and video to 9 dental operatories and 4 additional waiting room TV's that seamlessly connect to the streaming service of our choice AND and have wireless headphone connectivity AND keep it simple enough to use for 25 different employees...... and Sound Communication Inc TOTALLY DELIVERED! This is our second dental office with 9 operatories. We needed the system to be thorough, seamless, simple and versatile (unlike our first office). This one blows away our first one away. All of the girls caught on to the software/app that controls ALL of the video with a few clicks fairly quickly. It doesn't cut out, it can be controlled from our phones if need be, and the options are as plentiful. Tate was extremely accommodating and easy to work with. His communication with all pricing and sticking within our budget was fantastic. Couldn't be happier with the company and we are excited to have them come re-do our entire other office (that wasn't completed by them). We were so happy with them that they also did our entire security system. The same follows with that - simple, effective, and thorough. Couldn't be happier with Tate and the team at Sound Communications. If anybody wants to see for themselves, come on by!

I have worked with Joe over the past four years as he designed, installed and serviced all of the audio, video and computer systems on our family property in Crosslake, Minnesota, which includes three newly built structures: our Lodge, Cabin, and loft style Carriage House.

From the outset of our project, Joe was enthusiastic and clearly knowledgeable about the products and technology needed to fulfill our needs which includes a full house sound system, multiple television/video set ups, and computer networking to serve all of our buildings. My husband and I met Joe Diemer of Sound Communications in during the reconstruction of our lake home. Joe exceeded our expectations in every aspect. He listened to what we wanted for audiovisual, security and music at the home and tailored a system to our request. Beyond customizing the system, he installed and has provided phenomenal service to us.

I’d like to note that while we were reconstructing the Minnesota lake home we were at our permanent home in Pennsylvania. Joe is a professional. He was able to communicate either with us or our contractor as needed to ‘make it happen’. Joe provided us with two outdoor cameras, a whole-house music system, surround sound in family room, TV’s throughout home, blue ray, I-pod docking and wireless internet. The wiring was completed and electronics put in place and ready for our arrival! Upon our arrival, Joe was very patient and spent a good deal of time showing us how everything worked.

What must be reiterated is Joe’s phenomenal service. Calls, texts or emails are returned very quickly (in my experience in less than an hour – or immediately!). We are not tech-savvy and this has been a tremendous benefit.

We would recommend Joe/Sound Communications to anyone contemplating a custom electronics system.
